The Municipality of Paks won a tender support for the project in 2011, thanks to the South-Transdanubian Operative Program. The aim of the project was to create a cycling path between Paks and Csámpa. The path is 1500 metre long, it goes along next to the main road number 6. It joins in another cycling path, which goes along the by-pass of the town and ends in the residential area. It also crosses the two entrance road of the Nuclear Power Plant so the workers can easily approach their workplace. This cycling path is a connection between the town center, the residential area, the Nuclear Power Plant and Csámpa. Altogether it is 4,5 kilometer long.
