The Coffee, Wine and Palinka Festival is a unique event in the country. The reason why this is so unique: this three drink, which is so popular in gastro culture have never been combined in one festival yet. If we unify this event with the traditions of the day of Iván, we can participate in a real gastronomic journey. Many participants arrive from countryside to this typical festival of Paks. They can have resort to special packages and due to these special offers, they can get acquainted with the town and they can do sightseeing during the day. In the evening, they participate in the festival, so they spend at least one visitors night in the town, according to this they increase the tourism appeal of Paks. Among quality food and beverages, local craftsmen and local growers sell their products, so for example potters, jewelry makers, cheese makers participate in the event. Beside nationally famous performers, local talents entertain the audience with the help of the most modern audio and light technologies. To make the experience complete, there is a promenade for winemakers, where participants can meet the representatives of local wineries, there is also a resting place, where friends can drink wine, there is a place for kids, where the youngest participants of the festival can enjoy the event and so on. The two-day event attracts more and more visitors to the town every year.
